Consult with client to confirm suitability for treatment including contraindication, benefits & effects, review & update client profile manipulation techniques to apply appropriate technique for a safe and effective practice. And finally to recommend suitable aftercare advice to sustain the effects of treatment.

Program Objectives :

Project professional image, ensure a safe and hygienic workplace, provide a suitable environment for hand and foot reflexology massage lower arm and lower leg using classical techniques such as tui (pushing), na (kneading), kou/pai (percussion) to warm the area and prepare for the treatment locate 62 reflex zones of the hand and foot, organs/body systems represented, their benefits and effects on both branches of the autonomic nervous system. Relationship of reflex zones with tcm acupuncture points.

Consult with client to confirm suitability for treatment including contraindication, benefits & effects, review & update client profile safe and effective practice, contraindication to massage such as skin disorders, chronic diseases suitable after care advice to sustain the effects of treatment.

Duration: Part time 2.5 months  Full time 1 month

Mode of Delivery : Classroom + asynchronous elearning

Asssessment/Exam : Theory + Practical

Course completion Requirement is as follows:

75% pass for both theory and practical and achieve 75% attendance

Admission Requirements : PSLE, ESS  WPLN L3 English/Chinese or equivalent
