Learners will be able to:
– Project professional image, ensure a safe and hygienic workplace, provide a suitable environment for Chinese Tuina Therapy
– Consult with client to confirm suitability for treatment including contraindication to massage such as skin disorders, musculo-skeletal disorders and chronic diseases.
– Provide safe and effective practice in pain management by combining stroking, kneading, friction, oscillation and press techniques to promote general relaxation, improved circulation, relief from muscle tension, restored flexibility, and the elimination of waste products in the tissues. The theory of massage practice is based on the understanding of the Sinew Channel system.
– Provide suitable after care advice to sustain the effects of treatment
Program Objectives :
Suitable for job roles as Complementary Therapist, Spa Therapist, Massage Therapist. They will perform massage according to service guidelines with some adaptation to massage movements and manipulations to suit customer’s physical condition and requests.
Duration: Part time – 3 months , Full time – 1.2 month

a. Provide Manual Lymphatic Drainage
b. Provide Aromatherapy
c. Provide TCM Meridian Massage
c. VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage
