Course Overview

This program aims to provide foundation training to business executives who are responsible for the management of a business in areas such as accounting, banking, finance, internal control and marketing.

What you will learn

The diploma program consists of five modules: financial accounting I, cost & management accounting, business practice (with, business organization, IT and communication), finance & banking, and management & business environment (with business ethics and HR management).  Specifically,

• Financial literacy for non‑accountants: You learn to read balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, cash books and bank reconciliations so you can understand whether a business unit is really making money or burning cash.
• Smarter cost and budgeting decisions: Cost and management accounting topics like marginal costing, break‑even analysis and standard costing help you make data‑driven choices about pricing, staffing and resources instead of guessing.
• Confident everyday business practice: You cover how organizations are structured, how different stakeholders and governments influence business, and how global markets affect local decisions, which is crucial in an uncertain economy.

Duration: Part time – 12.5 months . Full time – 5 month
