Course Overview
On completion of this course, learner will have the knowledge and application skills to perform make-up at the workplace. The types of make-up covered are for daytime and night-time.
Adapted from the wsq framework, specifically, learners will be able to:
1. Project professional image, ensure a safe and hygienic workplace, provide a suitable environment for nail beautifying treatment.
2. Consult with client to review purpose and occasion of make-up & update client profile. Apply range of cosmetic products and their uses for various skin types and characteristics, face shape and facial features based on the classification of colors, complementary colors
3. Provide safe and effective practice by applying suitable products in the sequence and steps to enhance features and concealing imperfections, make-up techniques for eyes, cheeks, lips
4. Provide suitable after care advice to sustain the effects of treatment.
Target audience
Suitable for job role as makeup artist. They will perform according to standard service guidelines.
Progression
With a good handle of this massage practice, learners can progress to specialised training in:-
a. vtct (itec) level 2 diploma in beauty specialist
