Provide hand and foot care (手足护理）

Course Overview

Specifically, learners will be able to:
a. Caring for the hands and feet such as observe changes that could be a sign of a medical problem; identify conditions such as diabetes that affect circulation and sensation; keep the cuticles from becoming ragged and torn which can become infected; familiar with the proper use of equipment; hand and foot care routine covering washing, drying, cutting/trimming and cuticle care
b. Apply specific manipulations and massage sequence to improve circulation and well-being hand and foot care involves cleaning and caring for the skin of the hands and feet, keeping the nails trimmed and smooth. Many people who are receiving health care needs help caring for their hands and feet. At the end of this course, you will have the knowledge and skills to help the people in your care by keeping the fingernails trimmed and smooth to prevent injury and infection. On completion of this unit, learner will have the knowledge and application skills to perform hand and foot care.
